If you purchased a vehicle after 2018 you may be eligible for a complimentary new security update.
We’re committed to protecting you and your vehicle. Our engineers work with police and other agencies to identify new methods of attack and develop effective anti-theft measures. This update, installed by our experts, adds extra protection and takes up to 20 minutes to install.
HOW TO UPDATE YOUR SECURITY
CONTACT A RETAILER
Get in touch with your local Retailer or authorised repairer to see if you are eligible. You will be asked to provide your vehicle’s VIN and Registration Number.
BOOK AN APPOINTMENT
If your vehicle is eligible for the update, book an appointment with your Retailer or authorised repairer at a time to suit you.
UPDATE YOUR VEHICLE
Your appointment with your expert technicians will take no more than an hour. Feel free to grab a coffee in the lounge or work from a private space while you wait.

MORE WAYS TO SECURE YOUR VEHICLE
Help protect your vehicle with our latest security features and comprehensive insurance cover.
SET YOUR ALARM
Double-press the lock button on the vehicle door or the smart key when locking your vehicle. You will hear a beep to let you know the alarm has been armed.
SECURE YOUR KEYS
Our smart keys include Ultra-Wide Band technology which helps prevent 'relay attacks'. Help to stay protected by storing keys out of sight at least three metres away from the vehicle.
CHECK YOUR VEHICLE IS LOCKED
Key jammers can prevent vehicles from locking via the smart key. If your vehicle won’t lock using the smart key, lock your vehicle via the Remote App or by using the emergency key.
* InControl and Remote App features, options and their availability remain market dependent - check with your Retailer for local market availability and full terms. Certain features require an appropriate sim with a suitable data contract which will require further subscription after the initial term advised by your Retailer. Mobile connectivity cannot be guaranteed in all locations.
